About the Museum of Illusions

The Museum Of Illusions operates with two goals: to educate and to entertain. The exhibits unveil the mechanics behind mind-bending illusions while also shocking the senses and playing on perception. Whether it’s the spinning sensation through the Vortex tunnel, sizing up your partner in our Ames room, or defying gravity in the Reverse room, your mind will get a workout and your body will get a laugh.

The first Museum of Illusions opened in 2015 in Zagreb, Croatia. Today, there are over 20 museums globally including U.S. locations in New York City, Dallas, and Kansas City. The concept of the Museum offers an original and unique experience to visitors, locals, and tourists that will create lasting memories.

Within the Museum, there is also a “Dilemma” indoor playroom and “Dilemma” shop where visitors of all ages can play, compete, learn, and buy mind challenging games that encourage creative thinking.

The health and safety of our guests and employees is our top priority. With this in mind, we have several safety measures and procedures in place that are in accordance with CDC and local government guidelines. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Mandatory face masks
  • Temperature checks upon entry
  • Limited capacity
  • Hand sanitizing stations throughout the Museum
  • One-way and social distancing floor stickers
  • The latest, HVAC air purifying technology from CASPR

For more details on the Museum’s safety standards, please view the COVID-19 section of their website.
